It is my pleasure to welcome you to King’s Park Primary School, situated in the heart of Dalkeith, Midlothian.

Our school has been at the heart of the community since it was built in 1903, and we are incredibly proud of its long history of inspiring and educating generations of children.

Dalkeith is a town rich in history, with beautiful green spaces such as King’s Park and Dalkeith Country Park right on our doorstep. Our location provides wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning and helps us foster a deep connection with our local environment and heritage.

At King’s Park Primary, we welcome children from all areas of the community, ensuring that our school is an inclusive and diverse place where every child is supported to thrive and achieve their full potential.
